Hello, my name is Shanna Mawavise (it is a pseudonym) and I am an author, artist, instructor, actor, director and not really a whole lot more. I am an African American born in Tokyo, Japan on July 19th (a birthdate which I share with Lizzy Borden.) At this stage of my life I have published my first novel called The Tale of Chadizah. This is the first part of a series called The Mothersource Cycle. The second part, Walking the Path, is due out in 2005 with part three, Pulse of the Heartstone, close on its heels.
