George Bush used his connections to get out of going to Viet Nam. Doesn't sound all that stupid to me.

Kerry got there. Found out that things were a mess and got out as quickly as he could. Sounds pretty smart to me.

What's stupid is arguing over the minutiae of over thirty years ago. Bill Clinton finessed his way out of the draft and he became President.

All three went to Yale. Maybe we need to nuke New Haven, round up all the Yale allumni including Hilary, and quarantine them so no other Yalie can become President.
