Well, what's going on with the weather?

Believing, as I do that all things are connected and everything affects and effects everything else I am wondering where this current cycle of unusual weather began.
Global Warming, yes, but I do think that there's a closer natural occurrence (it really isn't a natural disaster now, is it?). My bet is the quake that spawned the tsunami is to blame.
We're supposed to have a fifty (50) degree drop in temperature tomorrow.
Spring Break?
